Ubisoft Sets a Date for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Reveal

The "gaming's worst-kept secret."

Ubisoft shared when it will disclose the remake of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The reveal of the renewed version, titled Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, will take place during a dedicated Showcase on April 23.

More specifically, the Showcase will air on the mentioned date at 6:00 PM CEST / 9:00 AM PDT on YouTube and Twitch. In the official announcement, Ubisoft humorously calls the reveal the "gaming's worst-kept secret."

Earlier, there were rumors about the remake's release, and confirmation appeared online last December. Allegedly, the new game is going to shift closer to the RPG style of recent AC titles.

The original 2013 Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag reached more than 34 million players a decade after its launch, becoming a remarkable entry of the franchise. Recently, the company saw changes in its leadership, with Clint Hocking being succeeded by Jean Guesdon, the new head of content for the Assassin's Creed series, one of the three new leaders recently assigned by Ubisoft.
