You Can See Every Pore on Skin of This Gollum from The Hobbit

Great job, Chadi Belbaz.

Have you ever wanted to see Gollum from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit up close and personal? No? Well, anyway, here is a fantastic 3D take on the character created by Chadi Belbaz for MixEnix Studio, which shows every pore of the creature's skin.

You don't have to love Gollum to appreciate the great work Belbaz did on the model – from his toes to the tip of his nose and, of course, what's left of his hair.

Belbaz sculpted Gollum, optimized MixEnix's textures, made hair cards and shaders, and set up the lighting using ZBrush, Maya, Substance 3D Painter, Mari, Marvelous Designer, Unreal Engine, and FiberShop. He also art-directed the character and the final scene.

If you're impressed with his work, check out Belbaz's other projects on ArtStation.
