3D Take on Mel Gibson as He Was in Lethal Weapon

A bout of nostalgia by Alexander Ekman.

Do you miss the nostalgic action of old movies? Well, you can rewatch them or look at Alexander Ekman's awesome 3D model of Martin Riggs from Lethal Weapon, portrayed by Mel Gibson.

The artist used a base mesh and one of the displacement textures from 3D Scan Store and sculpted the model to completion in ZBrush. He went to Marmoset Toolbag 4 for texturing and helped himself with Marvelous Designer, Blender, FiberShop, TopoGun, and RizomUV.

"For the pistol I definitely went a bit overboard, made some internals and anything that might be even slightly visible, wanted to try and push my hard surface texturing and modelling skills. Originally I made Rogers revolver since that was a bit less 'boring' in my opinion but then decided to scrap that since it did not really fit the character and ended up with the current M9."
