The project was made by Ognyan Zahariev to explore the mood and style of Hayao Miyazaki's movies.
Lead Lighting Artist at Shapefarm Ognyan Zahariev has unveiled a beautiful new project heavily inspired by Studio Ghibli's animated movies. This time, the artist demonstrated Kuker House, a calming and tranquil environment made to explore the mood and style of Hayao Miyazaki's works.
According to the artist, the majority of the assets used to create the scene were hand-made using ZBrush, 3ds Max, Substance 3D Painter, and Substance 3D Designer. Additionally, the artist utilized Meshingun Studio's Stylized Village Fatpack, MWallace3D's Beefy Blackbirds, and Indie Cat's AnimX: Advanced Cats packs from UE Marketplace to speed up the production. The scene was rendered and lit using Unreal Engine 5.
