Dmitry Bezrodniy continues the series of realistic 3D female characters inspired by real life.
Have a look at Farewell to the Steppe, a realistic and highly-detailed full-body 3D model of a Scythian female warrior created by 3D Character Artist Dmitry Bezrodniy.
According to the project's description, the artist utilized Maya, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, Marvelous Designer, and Marmoset Toolbag to model, texture, and render the character and her incredible armor, as well as FiberShop to set up her hair.
The author has also written a short story to give the character more depth:
The Scythian clan of Atalanta's father fell out of favor with the new reigner of Panticapaeum, and their further fate is unenviable. Therefore the offer of merchants from the Great northern forest to help them on their journey home no longer seems so inappropriate. However, everything won't be that easy with the merchants and the forests.
With Farewell to the Steppe, Dmitry continues the series of amazing 3D female warrior models inspired by real life. In case you missed it, earlier, the creator also unveiled Lilac, a character inspired by Chukchi, and Lady and Dragon, a stunning model of a female knight wearing a detailed set of armor and wielding a sword and a small warhammer.
