Viktor Colpaert demonstrated a new majestic 3D scene based on Lok Du's illustration.
Junior Environment Artist at Airborn Studios Viktor Colpaert, who specializes primarily in creating stylized NPR 3D scenes, has recently unveiled Go Home, a majestic fantasy-style digital environment that looks as if Studio Ghibli was tasked to reimagine the Swiss Alps.
Inspired by Lok Du's 2D illustration, Viktor's latest personal project was created using Blender, Substance 3D Painter, Substance 3D Designer, and Unreal Engine 5. According to the artist, the materials and environmental assets (structures, large background trees, rocks, vegetation) were created by him, while the shepherd and sheep models were made by Steffen Unger, the Head of 3D Character Art at Airborn.
