Artist Shares a Cool Blender Animation of Jack Plugs Acting Weird
Have your jack plugs ever acted like this?
Kir_in_1984 shared a Blender animation of jack plugs acting weird, like they're racing between them, and the artist wondered if that's normal behavior for jack plugs, sparking funny comments from users.
One user said that one of their jack plugs went out for a walk for a couple of days and hasn't come back; another one said that theirs usually snuggle up together under the desk or the bed.
Kir_in_1984 said in the replies that he aimed to create a weird movement, not something that looked snake-like, and he achieved the movement using Geometry Nodes, displacing a curve with a wave texture.
The artist seems to enjoy creating animations of everyday objects acting up, like this arrow pressing the ESC key very insistently. This one was also created using Geometry Nodes with a mesh that drives the scaling of instances on faces.
