Designing Mechanical Beasts: Robotic Wolf VFX in Blender

Chris Reilly will show you not only how to create a mechanical wolf but also how to make a great VFX sequence using Blender. You will be taken through the whole process, including modeling the wolf, shooting live-action footage, tracking it in the software, rigging and animating the wolf, and compositing it into the live-action footage.

Introduction to Blender Geometry Nodes

Blender is one of the most used 3D programs in the industry, and Geometry Nodes can really make wonders, so knowing how it all works is essential, especially if you are just starting your artistic journey. With CGMatter leading the way, you will understand the basics, including attributes, topology, simulation, gizmos, data types, vector math, and more, by creating mini-projects.

Procedural Techniques for Game Environment Creation

This course will teach you how to develop a procedural workflow for faster iteration, flexible level building, and creative endeavors. Rosen will demonstrate some Houdini workflows for tool creation and environment building, VEX scripting basics, texture generation techniques in Substance 3D Designer, and shader creation and material setup in Unreal Engine.

3D Creature Production: Rigging, Animation, CFX

If you ever wanted to become an animator, this course is for you. Nav Singh explains the process step by step, from the initial skeleton to advanced controls. You will create a creature rig using Zoo Tools, adding advanced features, like multi-layered IK/FK limbs, a shoulder lock, and jiggle controllers, make a realistic walk cycle, and then complete a muscle, fat, and skin simulation setup in Maya using AdonisFX.
