Check Out this Trippy Spider Queen Created Using Godot

Another interesting experiment made by ipoon showing off some art skills in Godot.

Game developer ipoon shared a project made with a Godot stencil using the stencil buffer they found in the StandardMaterial3D. They also said they used the style of their game, Reincarnated as a Dark Lord, to create the spider queen just as a "quick experiment," but that, if they are able, they are going to add it to their game.

Godot Engine has become one of the most popular open-source game engines thanks to its lightweight design, flexible workflow, and completely free licensing model. Unlike many commercial engines, Godot is released under the MIT license, meaning developers can use it without royalties or subscription fees.

In fact, one of the biggest new indie games in recent years, Slay the Spire 2, is built entirely in Godot.

Ipoon has a very distinctive style, which is a pixel-art style that captures the viewer's eye. They also did a prototype that lets you drag cables and click buttons to power it up, which has a kind of retro look.
