Cozy Japanese Train Station Imagined in 3D With Unreal Engine 5

Almog Rotem unveiled his first-ever environment art project.

3D Generalist Almog Rotem, mostly known for his digital character models, has recently tried his hand at environment art, presenting his first-ever CG environment portraying a cozy train station located somewhere in rural Japan.

Based on a real-life Wadazuka Station located in Kamakura, Japan, Almog's captivating scene was inspired by one of the illustrations of Kita Hideaki, a watercolor painter who often depicts trains and other means of transportation in his works. As for the software, the creator utilized Maya, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter/Designer, Marvelous Designer, and Unreal Engine 5 to bring the environment to life.
