Ultimate Weapons Masterclass is currently available for 50% off.
On 80 Level, we've presented a lot of masterpieces from artists whose photorealistic works blur the lines between 3D models and real-world weapons. If you also want to join their team and master the skills that can take your game art to the next level, this course would be what you need. Best of all, it's currently available with a 50% offer, which will end very soon.
Ultimate Weapons Masterclass is presented by Senior Environment Artist Emiel Sleegers, who has more than 10 years of professional experience within the game industry. The course aims to help artists make a professional AAA weapon using industry-standard techniques. "Create complicated, hard surface shapes in 3ds max, turning objects into high poly using Zbrush, make optimal UVs, learn about texture baking and texture creation in Substance Painter, and make stunning high-quality renders using Marmoset Toolbag 4."
This masterclass content has been split into eight weeks, but you can take them at your own pace. The content covers the overall process of creating a weapon, from gathering references and blocking the body to refining the low poly model, high poly body, baking, texturing, setting up the scene, and polishing. What's best is that during the course, you'll be learning some cutting-edge techniques, like plane modeling for particularly difficult pieces, which are key to working out excellent projects.
Notably, the tutorial is designed for 3D artists who already have experience with 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering and some knowledge of the software mentioned above.
If you are hesitant about purchasing, feel free to check out this free chapter from the tutorial, which offers thirty minutes of content:
