Şefki Ibrahim is well-known for his highly realistic projects, such as this stunning modern recreation of Mona Lisa, a beautiful crying animation, a portrait of Jack Black, and an amazing teeth asset. His latest piece revisits the very first character likeness he attempted in 2017, when he was just beginning his journey in 3D.
This Scarlett Johansson red carpet portrait was created using Maya, ZBrush, Arnold, and Houdini. The version on the left was actually the artist's first proper attempt at grooming hair in Houdini.
"Coming back to it now felt like a nice way to reflect on how much has changed over the years and how much I've learned along the way. I've been really lucky with the career I've had so far and the projects I've been able to work on," shared the artist. Take a closer look at the renders below:
