Game of Thrones' Drogon Recreated in Maya & Houdini

A team of three artists has recreated the iconic scene of Drogon melting The Iron Throne.

3D Artist Lorenzo Amendola has recently presented an outstanding animation inspired by Game of Thrones' last season. Made by Lorenzo in collaboration with VFX Artist Emanuele Meloni and Lighting Artist Sofia Porcù, the animation depicts the show's iconic scene of Drogon melting The Iron Throne and boasts stunning visual effects and lighting that make it hard to distinguish the recreation from the original scene. According to Lorenzo's post, the animation was made using ZBrush, Maya, Substance 3D Painter, and Houdini.

You can check out more of the artists' projects here, here, and here. Also, don't forget to join our Reddit page and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
