In case you missed the news, Blender 5.2 LTS arrived last week with a new Thin Wall mode in the Principled BSDF, making it easier to render thin materials like paper, leaves, and window sheets with more realistic physical behavior. Keep in mind that enabling Thin Wall alone won't do everything. It also relies on proper lighting to work correctly. SouthernShotty previously showcased how to create a creepy frosted glass effect with this feature:
