Meet Natla in This Behind-the-Scenes Footage of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis

If you've been following the creation process of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, you know that Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog have been sharing a mini-doc series covering some behind-the-scenes details about the game.

This time, they shared episode 7, which is about Jaqueline Natla, the main antagonist in the franchise. In the video, Adrienne Wilkinson, the actor who portrays Natla, speaks about what it was like to play the character.

Raul Siqueira, the Game Director, mentions that Wilkinson did a great job in portraying a character who conveys a softness that comes with aggression, showing how sometimes anger can be quiet.

Wilkinson added that the preparation for this character was different from any other role she has ever done, because Natla is a woman full of history and passion, which allowed the actress to feel the power of the character.

Maria Boris-Piatkowska, the Lead Narrative Designer, says that Natla plans everything ahead, thinks of every word she says, is tactical, and can predict outcomes, while Lara, on the other hand, is more straightforward and charismatic.

Adrienne Wilkinson thinks that one of the things that make Lara and Natla's story interesting is the fact that they share many traits: both of them are smart and empowered, using their intellect and their physicality to their advantage.
