Having the skill to create your favorite scenes in art is fantastic, and Stefan Oprisan surely has this ability. In his latest work, Marshlands, he recreated a beautiful forest he sees almost every day using Unreal Engine 5.
Other than Epic Games' software, he was aided by Maya, Substance 3D Designer, Substance 3D Painter, ZBrush, and Reality Capture.
"This scene fully leverages Nanite and Lumen to bring high quality visuals on all foliage using Pivot Painter 2. All plants are photometric capture and hand build. A few other scans really add more storytelling and character to the environment."
