Realistic Iron Man Model Made With Unreal Engine 5

The project pays tribute to one of the artist's favorite movie characters.

3D Character Artist and Art Director at EA Create Joe Zheng has presented a realistic 3D model of Iron Man based on Robert Downey Jr.'s portrayal of the iconic Marvel superhero. To create the character, the artist utilized Unreal Engine 5 MetaHuman's shaders to set up the eyes, skin, and hair, as well as 3D Scan Store's textures for the skin. Sculpting and texturing of Tony's head took place in ZBrush and Substance 3D Painter, while the suit was fully modeled in Maya. For hair, the creator used XGen and exported the strand cache to Unreal Engine 5. According to the artist, this project was made to pay tribute to the character.
