Suicide Squad's Polka-Dot Man Recreated in 3D

The author utilized ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, and Unreal Engine 5 to give the minor villain a major makeover.

Seungnam Yang, a Senior 3D Character Artist who previously impressed us with a realistic take on Arcane's Jinx, has recently unveiled a new and exciting full-body character model, paying tribute to the Polka-Dot Man, one of DC Comics' lesser-known supervillains and the member of the Suicide Squad.

Based on the likeness of David Dastmalchian, an actor who portrayed the character in the 2021 Suicide Squad movie, as the main reference, the model was sculpted in ZBrush, textured with Substance 3D Painter, and rendered in Unreal Engine 5.

Additionally, the author employed XGen to set up the eyebrows and eyelashes, TexturingXYZ's VFACE to create lifelike skin, and Marvelous Designer, which was utilized to recreate the character's iconic costume.
