The Witcher Swamp Cemetery Recreated in Unreal Engine
Eugenia Lysa shared a cool new project.
Take a look at this cool swamp cemetery from The Witcher created by Environment Artist Eugenia Lysa using Unreal Engine, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, and Quixel Megascans.
"Recently I've been replaying The Witcher I and I really loved the Swamp Cemetery location with its gloomy atmosphere, so I decided to do a quick environment art exercise and try to rebuild it in Unreal Engine 5," Eugenia shared.
Here is the original location:
Eugenia has drawn inspiration from other games in the past, producing beautiful renders of Elden Ring-inspired Godskin Temple, St. Trina of the Cradlesong's Dream World, and a gorgeous forest environment. She also shared a breakdown of her lighting study and showed us how to set up various lighting scenarios.
