This Beautiful Dota 2 Short Movie Made in Blender Needs Your Attention

You don't need to be familiar with Dota lore to enjoy this absolutely stunning short movie created by TimeWarp Animation. Icy Silence might even make you want to start playing, capturing your eye and mind with its beautiful 3D graphics and great storytelling. 

The team used mostly Blender but also Houdini, EmberGen, ZBrush, and Unreal Engine to deliver this high-quality film full of mind-blowing shots and especially delicious ice VFX.

The project tells the story of Drow Ranger, from her childhood until now, with a glimpse of Crystal Maiden, "falling with style." Icy Silence, directed by Israel Soteldo, is TimeWarp Animation's entry to the Dota 2 Short Film Contest, so if you like it, you can vote for the movie here.
