This Beautiful Hand-Painted Scene Was Textured Using a Mouse

You'll love the mouse.

The 3D Artist janpinguha7 shared on Twitter/X a beautiful hand-drawn environment that was textured with a mouse using the Deep Paint add-on.

The scene looks very detailed with all the trees, grass, ruins, and stone structures, and what's more impressive about this is the fact that it was hand-drawn with a mouse. If you are a 3D Artist, you know how much patience and control it takes to use a mouse to paint textures.

The artist also shared a WIP video:

And the mouse the artist used is so cute and funny. Creating with that might be a little less tedious, although it's impossible to avoid the pain after all the work.

janpinguha7 has shared other projects they have made on Twitter/X, like Liminal Space, which allowed the artist to study texturing. If you enjoyed the movie Backrooms, this one is for you.

This one is cute, and based on what the artist said, it appears they are beginners with Blender, which is really impressive.

The Deep Paint add-on was created by the Visual Artist and Digital Painter Gaku Tada. He unveiled it in 2024 for artists to create projects in a watercolor style. Check out some of Tada's artworks using the add-on.

Web Developer and 3D Artist, Lotus Design, is an artist who has also used Deep Paint. Take a look at this translucent scene with spring vibes and the Misty Morning project they made.
