This Transparent Spring 3D Scene Looks Like a Watercolor Painting
Lotus Design's work blurs the line between 3D and traditional watercolor.
Web Developer and 3D Artist Lotus Design unveiled this translucent scene with spring vibes that looks as if it were painted with watercolor, but is actually a masterfully crafted 3D render.
The artist used Blender to bring the scene to life, utilizing a mix of default vertex paint and texture paint. The work was inspired by 3D watercolors of Visual Artist and Art Director Gaku Tada, a renowned artist known for his painterly works that amaze with their transparency and hand-painted style. Some of the works by Lotus Design were made using Gaku Tada's Deep Paint add-on.
