This Psychological Horror Set in a Mysterious Forest Received a New Trailer

Catch a glimpse of Whispers in the Fog, developed by Pasquale Scionti.

Pasquale Scionti, an experienced Lighting Artist, who contributed to projects such as Call of Duty: Vanguard and Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2, and is renowned for his atmospheric 3D environments, shared a new trailer of his psychological horror game Whispers in the Fog, immersing the viewers into the eerie and mysterious atmosphere.

The trailer shows a misty, rainy forest from the first-person perspective, featuring realistic graphics brought to life with Unreal Engine 5. The developer shared that this version does not use Lumen; instead, it relies on SSR with Ambient Occlusion, along with Nanite and VSM.

In the game, you explore a mysterious forest, full of haunting whispers and shadowy figures, with only a flashlight at your disposal. You investigate haunted locations, like abandoned villages and forgotten trails, and piece by piece, create a full picture of a hidden truth, uncovering a mystery that will change your perception of reality.

Before, Pasquale Scionti showed this atmospheric swamp environment, a Cyberpunk 2077-inspired night street, a Silent Hill-inspired tornado scene, a concept gameplay of The Witcher 4, and a tutorial on creating a sci-fi-themed scene with a focus on lighting techniques, created in collaboration with NVIDIA:
