Tutorial on Creating Custom Color Shaders in Unity

Learn the insights into creating a custom color shader in Unity from Robert Ramsay.

Robert Ramsay released a tutorial where he explains his approach to creating a custom color shader in Unity. In the video, he goes step by step in the process of mixing red, green, blue colors and adding texture afterward.

You’ll need Photoshop, in the beginning, to work with colors and define color masks and their combinations, and then move these masks to Unity for shader creation. In Unity, you’ll need Shadergraph installed to work in the PBR graph with color masks. Later on, you’ll get into the details of the workflow with shader editor and creating nodes networks.
