You Can Create & Sculpt Blend Shapes Directly In Unreal Engine 5.6

Unreal Fest 2025 was packed with exciting reveals, including our first look at The Witcher 4 and the official launch of Unreal Engine 5.6, bringing updates to mobile developmentMetaHuman Creator, 9 new game templates, and more. This time, we're sharing character creation and animation improvements, featuring the new Sculpt mode in the Skeletal Mesh editor showcased by Chase Cooper. 

You can now create and sculpt blend shapes directly inside the Skeletal Mesh editor using Unreal Engine's built-in modeling tools. This allows you to easily modify existing blend shapes and quickly sculpt shapes during runtime in PIE.
