3D Female Portrait Inspired by a Guns N' Roses' Song

The artist utilized ZBrush, Maya, Substance 3D Painter, and Houdini to complete the project.

3D Character Artist Rajitha Naranpanawa, who specializes primarily in realistic 3D portraits, has unveiled yet another beautiful project that can be mistaken for a real-life photo. This time, the artist presented Ash, a detailed portrait of a lifelike goth-looking female model wearing a Guns N' Roses t-shirt and several hand-made accessories. According to the creator, the model was inspired by the story behind November Rain, one of the aforementioned band's songs, and was made using Maya, ZBrush, Mari, XGen, Substance 3D Painter, Houdini, Arnold, Adobe Lightroom, and TexturingXYZ's assets.

And here are some behind-the-scenes shots and GIFs shared by the artist:

Judging by the look I would of expected My Michelle as the inspiration instead of November Rain. That said it is an amazing portrait. Great job
