A Lifelike Tiger Made With ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter & Houdini

This creature model was textured and groomed by GV Prashanth.

3D Artist GV Prashanth, known for creating realistic-looking 3D animals, has unveiled yet another magnificent beast model that can easily be mistaken for a simple photo. This time, the artist presented a beautiful model of a tiger with Life of Pi-like looks, the movie the author worked on all these years ago as a Lighting Artist.

According to the creator, the model and basic texturing were made by another artist Burjis Shroff in Maya and ZBrush, with Prashanth being responsible for grooming and texturing. The project's description states that the tiger was groomed in Houdini, textured in Substance 3D Painter, and shaded in Arnold. Below are some of the renders shared by the artist.
