Sakura Rabbit showed how Unity's new features can be used to create NPR ocean shaders and clouds.
Developer, VFX Artist, and a renowned Unity enthusiast known only as Sakura Rabbit, who earlier showcased an impressive dynamic raindrop decal that enables one to apply a rain effect to 3D surfaces, continues her series of experiments, unveiling yet another majestic piece.
This time, the creator tried out Unity's new tools for creating stylized clouds, oceans, waves, and whitewater, demonstrating a great stylized 3D scene created in the engine and showing how the toolset can be used to make a customizable real-time NPR ocean shader. As usual, the shader is commercially available and can be purchased via Sakura Rabbit's Fanbox page.
Earlier, Sakura also presented a magical-looking clothing transformation effect, tested out Unity's Adaptive Probe Volumes (APV), showcased a breathtaking winter-themed real-time snow-covering effect, demonstrated a realistic and customizable real-time eye shader, experimented with 3D space distortion, and more. You can check out all of these projects and more by visiting Sakura's Twitter page.
