Eerie UE5.6 Environment Inspired by Silent Hill & Cyberpunk 2077

Created by Gabe Bossenberry.

3D Environment Artist Gabe Bossenberry unveiled a new highly detailed environment made using Unreal Engine 5.6.

When creating this eerie scene, the artist took inspiration from Silent Hill and Cyberpunk 2077. Based on a concept by Luca Pascal, the 3D environment was crafted using Unreal Engine, Maya, Substance 3D Painter, Substance 3D Designer, Photoshop, Marvelous Designer, ZBrush, and After Effects.

The artist shared that the goal was to practice storytelling by utilizing textures, set dressing, and lighting, along with followin workflows like RGB masking, mid-poly Vertex Paint workflows, trim sheets, and utilizing in-engine tools.
