Realistic 3D Take on Shadowheart from Baldur’s Gate 3

Baldur’s Gate 3 keeps inspiring artists years after its release: Natallia "BLU1304" Sudas recreated its Shadowheart, giving her a more realistic look in the likeness of Jennifer English, the character's voice actress.

Using ZBrush for sculpting, Houdini and Unreal Engine 5 for rendering, Sudas created a version of Shadowheart that looks like she was captured in a photo.

"Grooming was done with Houdini and GroomBear, ZWrap was used for details transfer and topology wrapping, I did clothes in Marvelous Designer and textures in Mari and Substance Painter."

The highly detailed skin is courtesy of Symbiote Studio, which provided enhanced displacement details and utility maps for the project.
