Rockstar Shares 39 New GTA 6 Screenshots Two Weeks Before Launch

Take a closer look at Vice City, Leonida, and the game's protagonists, Lucia and Jason.

Soon after the launch trailer, Rockstar shared more insights into the upcoming GTA 6 and published a batch of new screenshots.

The Launch Gallery on Rockstar's website features 39 new shots, offering a look at Vice City, its roaring nightlife, Leonida's beautiful nature, highly detailed character models, and portraits of the protagonists Lucia and Jason.

The images highlight the enormous amount of work Rockstar put into the game: its world features over 170 animal species, including flamingos, pelicans, alligators, and even monkeys, and a dynamic weather system that ranges from clear skies to cloudy days and heavy storms.

GTA 6 will have smart NPCs, reportedly smarter than before, which allegedly contributed to the game's delays. Rockstar created about 600,000 animations for Leonida's residents and developed diverse behavior patterns.

Rockstar's blockbuster is two weeks away from launch: it will be released on Thursday, November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Standard Edition costs $79.99, and the Ultimate Edition is priced at $99.99. The PC release reportedly won't be far behind, with a launch arriving in Q1 2027.

The hype for GTA 6 has spilled into real life: a GTA-branded Miami Heat arena, in-universe beers at bars, and a Vice City blimp in the sky. As reported by IGN, next up is "A Night in Vice City" on November 18, with a special game between the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks. Many studios have postponed their releases because of the November GTA 6 launch. However, at least one game kept its release date and even styled its promotional materials after GTA 6: Shrek 2 Remastered. The game releases on November 10, with the trailer drawing on the GTA 6 preview videos. It even recreates the series' iconic grid-based design.
