Sauron's Annatar Identity Imagined in 3D

The character model was created using Maya, ZBrush, Nuke, and Substance 3D Sampler.

Lead Character Artist and a popular YouTuber J Hill, known for creating a huge number of awesome-looking characters, presented a brand new project inspired by the Lord of the Rings universe. This time, the artist unveiled a version of Annatar, Sauron's assumed identity that looks like a beautiful elf and doesn't have anything in common with LotR's iconic villain in spiky armor. According to the artist, the character was inspired by the Rings of Power show and was made using Maya, ZBrush, Nuke, and Substance 3D Sampler.

"I've been excited to be back in Middle Earth with the Rings of Power show and channeled that into creating a LotR-related project," said the artist. "It was a welcomed excuse to dive back into the things I love about the original movies and nerd out for a bit. Looking forward to seeing Annatar in the show eventually."
