This Blender Tool Lets You Draw Hair Strands Along Guides
It's free.
Made by ヨルノサク, Draw-Hair is a Blender add-on created as part of a university coursework project. It's still a work in progress, and the developer is continuing to improve it to make it more convenient for everyone. As the name suggests, Draw-Hair lets you draw hair curves directly in the Blender viewport while following a guide mesh, such as a head model.
To use it, press the Set Guide button first. Adjust the guide mesh to fit the head and modify the bevel shape however you like. Then press the Edit Hair button to enter drawing mode. Simply draw lines in the viewport, and the curves will automatically snap to the guide mesh. You can control curve resolution and simplify vertices using the add-on's Topology settings.
Draw-Hair can be used for both personal and commercial projects. The developer welcomes feedback and suggestions to help improve the add-on. Download it here.
