3D Character Artist Shares a Funny Painting-Like Model of a Viking with a Dragon
They're beard buddies!
Sadra Shariaty is a 3D Character Artist that we have featured in the past, and this time, he shared on his ArtStation the project Beard Buddies, which is a recreation of a concept made by the Concept Artist, Sam Nassour.
The dragon looks very cute. It reminds me of a dog or a cat. Their beards definitely make them look like they're matching styles. The whole scene appears like an oil painting.
The artist also shared how the model looked before the color:
Shariaty used ZBrush, Nomad Sculpt, Substance 3D Painter, and Blender to create these characters.
In the past, we shared how Sadra Shariaty modeled a pear monster. In the interview, he explained how he achieved the shape of the pear and how he created the bee that accompanies the character.
We also shared an interview about how he sculpted a reptilian alien bust. The character looks very realistic, and it has a lot of details.
You can also check out other Viking or dragon projects we have featured, like Monik Sharma's Viking Warrior Sculpt, or Julio Benavides's funny project of a dentist of dragons.
