Oriol Salom created this beautiful dish to teach a colleague how to work with alphas, stencils, and anchor points, but you can also check it out yourself: the artist generously shared a free file for anyone to explore.
Oriol used Blender for both high and low-poly modeling, RizomUV for UV mapping, Substance 3D Painter for texturing, and Photoshop for the alphas. Marmoset Toolbag was used for baking and rendering, while Quixel provided the table texture, and PureRef was used to organize the reference board. Take a closer look at the dish below:
