Atmospheric 3D Scene of an Abandoned House Inspired by The Last of Us

A great work by 3D Artist Elisa Binz.

3D Environment Artist Elisa Binz unveiled this stunning scene of a long-abandoned house inspired by The Last of Us, crafted using Unreal Engine 5.

The 3D artwork is based on the concept by Concept Artist Danar Worya. Elisa Binz skillfully crafted the scene, perfectly conveying the atmosphere of a dusty sunlit room left undisturbed for a long time.

The level of detail is impressive, from the decayed walls to the ragged sofa. Elisa masterfully designed the props and materials, creating a unique setup. Apart from UE5, she employed tools such as Blender, ZBrush, Marmoset Toolbag, Substance 3D Painter/Designer, Marvelous Designer, and SpeedTree.

Take a closer look at the scene and check out more details on the creator's ArtStation:

Before, Elisa Binz joined 80 Level to talk about the House in the Forest project, detailed her sculpting process in ZBrush, and discussed how she enhanced the scene's storytelling using Substance 3D Painter and Unreal Engine:

As for The Last of Us, check out this forest scene inspired by its atmospheric world, featuring stunning lighting, which was crafted by 3D Environment and Prop Artist Carlos Barrera, and learn more about its creation in our interview:
