Check Out This Fascinating Scene with City in the Clouds Made with UE5

Anthony Zheng shared some details of creating the environment.

Take a look at this stunning large-scale environment titled City Above The Clouds, created by 3D Environment Artist and Modeler Anthony Zheng. The artist shared that the scene combines Asian and European architecture and immerses the viewers into a remote city uncorrupted by the struggles of war and conflict.

The environment was made entirely from scratch, including the characters, foliage, and clouds. According to Anthony Zheng, the scene was his largest project that presented him with a lot of new challenges, such as learning to create a VDB cloud shader and characters within Marvelous Designer and learning Unreal PCG to create procedural tools allowing for quick generation of the castle's structures and towers.
