Dragon Age's Storm Coast Recreated in Unreal Engine 5

The artist utilized a combination of Megascans, photogrammetry, and custom-made assets to recreate the iconic location from Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Freelance 3D Artist Leo Torres, known for his amazing indoor terrarium scenes, has unveiled a beautiful new environment made in Unreal Engine 5. This time, the artist has recreated the Storm Coast region from Dragon Age: Inquisition for Thedas Magic Mystery World Tour, the artist's series of projects that reimagine locations from the game with next-gen graphics.

To create the scene, the artist utilized a combination of Megascans assets, free photogrammetry assets, and hand-made assets in Blender. UE5's Nanite, Lumen, and the Niagara particle system were used for the fully dynamic scene and atmospheric effects. Additionally, Leo used Volumetric Clouds to create a foggy atmosphere.
