Learn to Make Realistic Water Simulations Using Unreal Engine in This Course

Jesse Pitela will teach you how to create rivers like in The Witcher 4 demo.

The Witcher 4's tech demo is full of nice showcases that demonstrate Unreal Engine 5.6's impressive capabilities, including the new Control Rig Physics used to deal with slopes, among other things.

The demo also used Unreal's river tools, according to the renowned artist Jesse Pitela, and he is ready to show you how you can create something as great.

Adding water simulations to his Unreal Megabundle, he will show you how to make impressive rivers that realistically collide, generate whitewater, and support buoyancy for floating objects.

The Megabundle includes 4 courses: Niagara Immersion, Chaos Destruction, Niagara Motion, and Unreal Motion, with tools from the latest version of Unreal Engine. If you want to learn to craft fantastic real-time VFX simulations, this is what you need.

"Become an indispensable part of any Unreal Engine VFX team by mastering multiple tools and skillsets through a wide range of setups and examples involving particles, fire, smoke, destruction, liquid simulations, cloners & effectors, character effects and much more. Create high-end VFX & Motion Design visuals all in real-time, entirely inside Unreal Engine."

The courses are project-based, so you will have some nice additions to your portfolio by the end.

Jesse Pitela has over 5 years of experience teaching artists and he's recorded over 1,000 video lessons. Being a judge at The Rookie Awards 2023, he definitely has a lot to share and can be your guide to the world of VFX.

Apply to the course by the end of June and become more desirable to potential employers.

Don't know what to expect? Have a look at Pitela's liquid simulation with colorful particles, wood destruction, and explosion effects.
