Photoreal Japanese Environment Made With Unreal Engine 5

This impressive scene was made by Ranjeet Singh.

3D Artist Ranjeet Singh unveiled a new realistic real-time environment that can easily be mistaken for a regular video recording. This time, the artist has set up an amazing Japanese-style scene with tons of little details and assets that fully translate the feeling of a small Japanese street. According to the artist, the scene was created to learn more about real-time lighting, material creations, and photorealistic texturing.

The project's description states that all of the scene's assets were hand-crafted by Ranjeet using Maya, Substance 3D Painter, and Marvelous Designer, except for foliage and road textures, which were taken from the Megascan library. For rendering and lighting, the artist utilized Unreal Engine 5.
