Take a Look at This Realistic 3D Portrait Inspired by Slavic Culture

Dmitry Bezrodniy presented a new story-rich artwork.

With his new artwork, Character Artist Dmitry Bezrodniy immerses the viewers in an atmosphere of the age-old Slavic culture, presenting this inspiring and strong character, Nika, Schema-nun of the Holy Fire. The portrait was crafted using Maya, Substance 3D Painter, Unreal Engine, Marvelous Designer, and Marmoset Toolbag.

Apart from a realistic character model, the artwork captivates attention with its balanced colors and high-quality details of the outfit. As for the atmospheric environment, it was created by Weapon and Cinematic Artist Anton Teryoshkin.

Take a closer look at the renders:

Dmitry Bezrodniy showcased multiple portraits inspired by various cultures and historical periods, such as a character from the Bronze Era Caucasus, a Scythian female warrior, a Chukchi female, and a female knight:

Previously, the artist joined us to talk about the challenges of creating historically accurate, memorable characters for Hell Let Loose and described the process of designing every part of their look in ZBrush, Marvelous Designer, Marmoset, and Maya.
