Take a Look at This Reinterpretation of Mindy Blanchard from Dishonored 2
The tattoos are my favorite part.
3D Character and Creature Artist, Clémence De Casanove, shared on her ArtStation her take on Mindy Blanchard from the Dishonored 2 game.
The artist explained that she wanted to make a project that could allow her to practice creating game characters with Unreal Engine and explore the Dishonored style more ambitiously.
She decided to make it as close as possible to the original concepts, especially for the face, by blending, painting, and sculpting. But at the same time, she wanted to add her own interpretation.
The details in the clothes and the tattoos look really impressive. Take a look:
De Casanove added that for this project, she used different methods to create the appearance, and that even though she believes there are skills she still needs to improve, it helped her learn a lot.
She used Unreal Engine, ZBrush, Substance 3D Painter, Maya, and RizomUV to create the character. Here are some images showing a comparison between the different stages of creation:
