The artist meticulously crafted the scene from scratch, with each asset being custom-made. As shared by the artist, one of the sources of inspiration was Diagon Alley, a magical street from the Harry Potter universe. The fantasy-inspired houses with plenty of lanterns are reminiscent of magical shops with various wizardry goods.
According to Ivan Volchenko, the scene creation took 200 hours. To set up this complex environment, the artist utilized Maya, Unreal Engine, Substance 3D Designer, Substance 3D Painter, Marmoset Toolbag, SpeedTree, ZBrush, and Photoshop. Ivan Volchenko also shared the asset pack used in the scene.
