A Closer Look at Valorant's Corrode Map

Airborn Studios showcased the renders and assets created for the environment.

Airborn Studios shared a closer look at Valorant's Corrode map, a medieval town repurposed into a radianite salt mining facility.

The studio's artists, Martin Elsäßer and Maxime Lecas, contributed to creating the project. They worked on far-distance panoramas as well as on most of the parts closer to and adjacent to the gameplay area of the Corrode, which includes the abbey, the crane, the salt factory, and other buildings.

The software used includes Blender, Maya, Unreal Engine, ZBrush, and Substance 3D Painter. The studio clarified that Riot Games provided the concepts and handled the final touch-ups and VFX work.
