Airborn Studios revisited an old project that it was named after.
Airborn Studios, a German 2D/3D art studio that contributed to projects such as Overwatch, Fortnite, Brawl Stars, Crash Bandicoot, and Halo, has unveiled a beautiful stylized animation titled Airborn.
According to the team, this animation was made to revisit an old project that was initially revealed all the way back in the late 2000s and helped the team to find new members, who are now Airborn's veterans, and gave the studio its name.
The project's description states that the team utilized Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Marmoset Toolbag, Maya, Substance 3D Painter, and Unreal Engine 5 to create the animation.
"After a hibernation phase of five years, we made the call to revisit the project that our studio is named after," commented the team. "Wondering what it would be like if we dove back into that world with new ideas, a different approach, a mix of Airborn veterans and new team members, and the determination to use the latest technology to push stylized game art and stay true to the core pillars of the work that was done way back. And without further ado, we proudly present the result and won’t make you scroll for it!"
