Take a Look at This Real-Time Game Character Created Using ZBrush and Unreal Engine

Would you play a game with this character? She looks fantastic!

Tetra is a real-time game character that was created by Yusuf Kemal Borekci, who is a DMU Game Art Student. They shared part of the process on their ArtStation profile, explaining that their purpose was to achieve realistic detail while keeping the game-ready style, focusing on texture and UV efficiency.

They added that they used MetaHuman to rig and animate the face and test facial performance. Other software he used was Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Unreal Engine, Substance 3D Painter, FiberShop, Blender, and Marvelous Designer.

The character looks like a badass fighter, like someone who doesn't let anyone take advantage of her. The style is really cool, and you can imagine the character in an action game, maybe one that occurs in a dystopian city (in my head, she drives a motorcycle).

Yusuf Kemal Borekci also shared some WIPs:

If you want to read a more detailed breakdown of the creation process, you can read the artist's blog, and you can check out other projects of theirs, like a real-time hair groom or the 3D game Character Yuzuki.
