Check Out This Highly Detailed and Gritty 3D Character Model
The artist shared a really detailed breakdown.
Junki Ahn, a 3D Character Artist, shared on ArtStation a character he made of an inmate who escaped from jail in a gritty, grungy, almost Cyberpunk style.
The artist explained that it was their first time creating a modern character, and they had to pay a lot of attention to aspects like proportions, but it was a project that also allowed them to learn more about texturing materials with a modern look.
The concept art was made by Ningbo Jiang. Junki Ahn used Unreal Engine, 3ds Max, ZBrush, FiberShop, Marvelous Designer, Substance 3D Painter, Photoshop, RizomUV, Marmoset Toolbag, MetaHuman Creator, and Metatailor.
The character is very detailed, and it has a lot of personality, maybe morally grey, but very charismatic. I can imagine her in an action setting, trying to escape from her enemies or seeking justice for something that happened in the past.
