Acer Introduced Its First Graphics Card, Predator BiFrost GPU

The graphics card comes with a 2.5-slot design and uses a custom PCB that is powered by dual 8-pin connectors.

Acer has announced its entry into the graphics card market, revealing its first video card, Predator BiFrost, that will feature Intel's new Arc A770 flagship GPU.

The company revealed the news on Twitter showing the design of the new graphics card, although it has not yet announced its technical characteristics.

Predator BiFrost GPU comes with a 2.5-slot design and uses a custom PCB that is powered by dual 8-pin connectors. It will be equipped with two fans of different sizes – a blower-style fan located in the middle of the video card, and another much larger non-blower fan located to the right of the first one. Apparently, this design is set to provide improved cooling.

The card features a metallic-looking shroud, and the two fans incorporate RGB lighting designs with the larger fan having significantly more RGB lighting compared to the other fan. The video card also features a Predator gaming logo on the side that is also RGB-illuminated.

It is currently unclear when sales of the Arc A770 Predator BiFrost will start. Probably, the video card will be available for purchase on October 12, when Intel launches Arc A770 sales.
