This year’s Digital Dragons will be the 9th edition of the conference organised by Kraków Technology Park. It will take place online from the 15th to 18th of September featuring many notable speakers.
Not much time left to the leading gaming industry event Digital Dragons 2020. Although the conference is going online, it will be filled with knowledgeable lectures, and great discussion panels, conducted by gaming dev industry specialists and professionals from all around the world. As a reminder, the talks will take place in two sessions - morning and evening, to cover a wide range of timezones, and after each session, there will be a discussion panel.
Among the notable speakers are Darkes Dungeon creator Chris Bourassa, Randy Varnell Borderlands creator. Amanda Kruse from Hivemind, and a strong representative from Remedy. Now, this noble group joins Garry Schyman, BioShocks score creator, Austin Wintory, responsible for the music to Journey and Banner Saga.
Austin Wintory will attend this year’s Digital Dragons. Renowned for his Journey music, which won him a BAFTAs, among other awards and nominations. During the event, he will have a lecture about various interactive music systems.
Garry Schuman is another composer at the conference. His music for BioShock series gathered nominations and awards. Last years he worked on Guild Wars 2 and Middle-earth series. He will expand on the art and craft of composing a music score for games.
Piotr Bajraszewski from 11 bit studios, launched more than 20 products on every possible platform, dozens of updates and hundreds of discounts. Some of them went extremely well and some landed hard. will share examples of both and explain what he has learned from it.
Maria Borys-Piątkowska and Sławomir Uliasz form Flying Wild Hog we’ll speak about changes in the narrative design role. From delivering dialogues and provide in-game text to being involved at the beginning of the process to ensure that Story and Gameplay come abreast from the premise to production.
