Facebook Acquires Ready At Dawn

Ready At Dawn, the developers of The Order: 1886 and VR title Lone Echo, joined Facebook where the team will continue working on virtual reality games for the Oculus VR platform.

"As part of the Oculus Studios team, Ready At Dawn will continue creating memorable, immersive, and innovative VR content for gamers around the world as an independently-operated studio," said Mike Verdu, head of VR content at Facebook. The manager added that the team will continue working out of its Irvine, CA, and Portland, OR offices on Lone Echo II, a sequel to 2017's Lone Echo.

Previously, the studio has also released 2015's The Order: 1886, one of the best-looking PS4 exclusives about hunting werewolves and vampires in a steampunk version of London.
